January 14, 2011 - Decent Coverage at Last

You probably remember that the world did not end on January 1, 2000. To many that came as a surprise because the media focused on end of days, not on the hard work of tens of thousands of IT professionals around the world who spent the years leading up to Y2K making sure electricity and water and money and cars would all still flow.

Today, the writer Sarah Jacobsson Purewal posted The Top 10 Tech Scares of the Decade at PC World. She is one of the very few writers during the last decade to get it right. (The rest of the article is very good as well.)
