After due consideration, I have decided to discontinue this list. I have reasons:

• I'm not doing a good job keeping it up.
• I don't know as much about guitars as I do banjos.
• Folks seem to agree with the two reasons above, so the page is not much visited.
• I want to do a better job keeping up with the banjo list.

The Guitar Maker list is therefore discontinued as of August 1, 2020.
