Although the old design was rough, the key problem was that several different designs had been used, the product of several developers over time. The new site had a consistent look & feel throughout and made heavy use of large type to cater to the audience.

Any non-profit organization needs its home on the Web to reflect its purpose and the needs of those it serves. For the "hard of seeing" a consistent, well-organized design is even more important. My pro bono work on this project came to an end when NAVH was acquired by Lighthouse International.
