Most of my Web development clients are now asking for a way to manage their own photo galleries and include them in the content handled by my SiteCommander system. I usually present the galleries using a pop-up "light box," a nice solution that eliminates the need to navigate away from the page.

I've created a sample page that demonstrates three of the most popular components for implementing lightboxes – plus a famous original – and lists a few high points about each. I most often use Shadowbox-js but the others have their strengths as well.
