I have watched the sale of vintage Japanese banjos on eBay for about five years and published those sales here. Recently I noticed that quality models have almost stopped appearing. Because I've learned what I wanted to learn and because this is a time-consuming chore, I've decided not to watch as aggressively as I have in the past.

I will continue to watch for vintage Gold Star banjos; I have a personal, special interest.

This has been a fun project. The eBay tracking pages are among my most popular here. However, it is clear from my site statistics that as the availability of these banjos on eBay has diminished, so have visits to my pages. No need to thrash a dead horse.
